Girls Boarding Madrasa

Jamiatul Banaat Tankaria

Jamiatul Banaat Tankaria first opened it’s doors in March 2001. By the grace of Allah Ta’ala, in the past years over 1,000 students have completed their 6 year Alima Course (Islamic Studies Course) and graduated as qualified Alimah’s (scholars) of Islam.

The construction of Jamiatul Banaat Tankaria commenced in January 1995. Alhamdulillah, Jamiatul Banaat Tankaria’s buildings equate to over 200,000 sq ft, and the building currently comfortably accommodates 550 students in the madrasah.

Jamiatul Banaat Tankaria’s aim is to educate and empower future female scholars with the knowledge of the Qur’aan and Sunnah. This knowledge will inshAllah enable our young women to guide, advise and inspire the future Muslim Ummah to follow the beautiful teachings of Allah Ta’ala and his beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

At Jamiatul Banaat Tankaria, we make every effort to provide a nurturing environment where students excel in both Islamic and secular studies and are inspired to follow the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad  (peace and blessings be upon him). We strongly believe that education is the shared responsibility of the Jamiah, students, parents and the wider Muslim community. The staff and teachers at the Jamiah play a crucial role in imbuing and providing the students with moral values, personal integrity and ethical conduct which are consistent with Islamic beliefs.

The Jamiah is also a registered school with the Gujrat Education Department, and offers SSC & HSC qualification course to its students, which also includes English and IT as compulsory subjects.

The annual fees per student is 15,000 rupees (on average this equates to £150.00 per student per year).
